Development of the chick (Gallus ), no. 7.
Wax model of Gallus embryo. Number 7 of a series of 23 models showing the development of the chick embryo. Depicts His stage 7, age 2-3 days; anterior cut away to show developing face and heart.
The model is mounted in a gold and black wood frame, held by metal pins, on a black painted, numbered wooden base.
Scale: 40 x linear magnification.

Condition: fair; incomplete (part of model and frame missing).
