Wax model of Gallus embryo. Number 9 of a series of 23 models showing the development of the chick embryo. Depicts His stage 7, age 2-3 days; sagittal section.
The model is mounted in a gold and black wood half-frame, held by metal pins, on a black painted, numbered wooden base.
Scale: 40 x linear magnification.
