Development of the chick (Gallus ), no. 23.
Wax model of Gallus embryo guts. Number 23 of a series of 23 models showing the development of the chick embryo. Numbers 14-23 may not originally have been in the same set as numbers 1-13. Depicts His stage 9, age 4 days.
The model has various structures labelled by letters. The model is in a box with number 22 from the set. Wood and paper box, lined with felt.
Scale: 40 x linear magnification.
