Description Notes

Development of the chick (Gallus ), no. 2.
Wax model of Gallus embryo. Number 2 of a series of 23 models showing the development of the chick embryo. Depicts His stage 4, embryo at the end of day 1.
The model is mounted in gold and black wood frame, held by metal pins and backed with card, on a black painted, numbered wood base. Maker’s label on stand below frame.
Scale: 40 x linear magnification.

Condition: fair; incomplete (part of frame missing).
