Wax model of Gallus embryo brain. Number 16 of a series of 23 models showing the development of the chick embryo. Numbers 14-23 may not originally have been in the same set as numbers 1-13. Depicts His stage 8, age 3 days.
The model is in a box with number 14, 15 and 17 of the set. Cardboard box, lined with cloth. Paper label in the box.
Scale: 40 x linear magnification.
