Development of the chick (Gallus ), no. 22.
Wax model of Gallus embryo heart. Number 22 of a series of 23 models showing the development of the chick embryo. Numbers 14-23 may not originally have been in the same set as numbers 1-13. Depicts His stage 8, age 3 days.
There have been letters painted on the model, but they are now illegible. The model is in a box with number 23 of the set. Cardboard box, lined with cloth. Paper label in the box.
Scale: 40 x linear magnification.
