Box camera obscura; 19th century.

Wooden box with adjustable/detachable metal tube protruding from one end. Glass lens in end of metal tube. Hinged lid of box opens to reveal glass mirror set at angle to reflect image onto frosted glass panel.

Condition: good (box)/fair (metal tube); complete.
