Description Notes

Large rectangular wooden box with ebonite top; ventilation holes in four sides of box; seven brass terminals, mounted on separated brass blocks with circular plug receptors between them; four brass and ebonite plugs; resistance wire coils wound and coated in rubber, suspended on underside of top plate. Brass blocks are arranged in rows, with nine numbered blocks in each row, with each row marked, from bottom to top, “UNITES”, “DIZAINES”, “CENTAINES”, “MILLE”. Seperate row of blocks at top have markings in ebonite that read, left to right, “1000”, “100”, “10”, “10”, “100”, “1000”.

Condition: good/fair; complete.
