Description Notes

Reflecting galvanometer, by Cambridge Instrument Company, English, mid C20th.

Cambridge Instrument Company “Spot” Galvanometer for 250V A.C. Two terminals at the back, one red and one black, with label between reading ‘20 ohms’. Switch on top can alternate between ‘clamp’ and ‘free’. Two scales, 1 - 100 and 0-50 with 10 degree intervals. Rheostat at front, to adjust resistance. No.L-404213. Paper in slot between the two rubber feet indicates the device has been maintained, by being tested at 20o for is external dampening resistance, periodic time and sensitivity. There is a wire around the two rear terminals. Is missing its mains plug.

Condition: Good, incomplete.
