Addmaster “baby” mechanical pocket calculator, by Addimult, East German, c. 1960.

Addmaster “Baby” mechanical calculator, German. One side for addition and one for subtraction. Each side has 6 columns measuring up to £999, 99 shillings and 11 pence. Comes with metal stylus for adjusting numbers and can pull a handle on shorter side of device to return calculator to nil. Comes in black and red leatherette case labelled “ADDMASTER-BABY” and in red box labelled “ADDMASTER”. On the rear of the box are two illustrations showing how to use the calculator. Calculator and case are in perfect condition, however the box is coming apart.
