Description Notes

Ceramic relief planetary moon globe, possibly of Tethys, Mimas or Iapetus, [English], late 20th century.

Ceramic relief planetary globe possibly of Thethys, Mimas or Iapetus. Earthenware ceramic painted white. Paint is thin and does not entirely cover all areas of the globe; it has not reached inside all raised/indented parts. Hole (assumedly at the bottom?) of the globe where the mould was open, and perhaps intended to be used for mounting. Globe is cratered and ridged and painted in white/blue matte paint.
