Cell division model (one of 13), by Louis M. Meusel, German, c. 1920.

One of a set of 13 cell division models, by Louis M. Meusel. Model depicts a single cell in prophase and is the third model in the sequence. Model shows the spindle forming and implies the motion of the cell to two opposite sides. Model is made of plaster and ebonized wooden stand. This stand is numbered with a sticker labelled '3'.

In good condition, complete.
