Cell division model (one of 13), by Louis M. Meusel, German, c. 1920.
One of a set of 13 cell division models, by Louis M. Meusel. Model depicts a single cell and is assumedly the first model in prophase. Cell is either binucleated or show nucleus as well as pericentriolar material, and spindle beginning to form. Model is made of plaster and ebonized wooden stand. Small mark on the stand where a numbered sticker has come away (previously was labelled with its number in the sequence).
In good condition, complete.
