Description Notes

Geissler tube, C20th

An evacuated glass tube with two electrodes: small hooks on the extremes of either end of the tube connected to think metal rods inside the tube. The glass tube is twirled a coiled S-shape between the electrodes. The coil at one end is tinted yellow (may be due to use rather than original).
