Lunar (moon) relief model in plaster, after Fr. S. Archenhold, by Verlag der Treptow-Sternwarte, German, 1899.

Moon relief model in plaster, showing section of the moon's surface, mounted on wooden base which is covered in Blue velvet and has brass fixings on each corner,a metal hanging hook on its reverse and paper covering the back of the base.

Signed: "Mondmedallion I von Eduard Lehr, Berlin/ Nach F.S. Archenhold".

Diameter moon c. 10cm, wooden base c. 18.5 x 18.5 x 3 cm

"Mc 3,50" written in pencil on paper backing top right corner, and "56" written in pencil on bottom right corner.
