Seventeenth Century Triangular Quadrant, English, c.1661.
Large Seventeenth Century wooden folding combination rule/sector. Unsigned and calibrated overall with measure, sector and perpetual calendar dated 1673.
Made of darkened wood and hinged with metal (brass?). One end of the rule is markedly darker than the rest, almost black in colour.
