Magazine with 118 pages, bound with staples. The front cover shows a man testing a moon suit mock up, with the magazine title Life in red, the tagline/issue information Man's Journey to the Moon, Preview of the Greatest Adventure of All Time in white, cover lines in white along the left-hand side, and the date and price (20c) in white at the bottom. A sticker in the bottom left corner shows the name and address of the person to whom it was originally posted. The magazine has both colour and black-and-white pages with articles, letters, and advertisements. There is a feature about Project Apollo and the goal of landing human on the Moon. The back cover has a colour advertisement for Lucky Strike cigarettes.
