Description
This device enables the visual monitoring of the electrical activity of a patient’s heart. Electrodes attached to the patient detect electrical impulses generated by cardiac tissue and this data is transformed into a waveform, which is projected onto the screen of the electrocardioscope. This particular model of instrument was designed to enable a medical team to continuously monitor a patient’s heart function during surgery.
