Description Notes

Wool test for colour blindness, after Alarik Holmgren, late 19th Century.

Black card box containing 43 pieces of coloured wool attached to numbered circular tags. Inside the lid are instructions for the test. At the bottom of the box there is a piece of paper that says it is unsuitable for present day use as the test only identifies patients with the most severe defect.
