Description
The Gillette GPA is a pocket electronic calculator developed and launched by Sinclair in 1974 under the request of the Gillette Company, who is better known for razor blades. The reason behind the request was probably an attempt to enter domestic electronic markets. Yet due to oil crisis, the economy in the UK was hit hard and Gillette quickly pulled out of the calculating device line. It is a model that appeared briefly in the market, but it is the prototype of the later Sinclair Oxford 100, 200, 300, and other lines launched by Sinclair.
