Microscope, formerly the property of Cambridge geologist Colin Forbes, by Reichert, Austrian, 1905 (c)

mononocular brass microscope with black base. "C. REICHERT WIEN " written on base, lenses and body tube. With fitted wooden box and [incomplete] accessories.

The fitted wooden box contains a wooden rack with spaces for five canisters, one black canister, a wooden box that contains one lens, two slides (labelled "Quartz Wedge" and "calcite thombs calcite sand cold water root tank, Sedgwick Museum, Oct 1971 This accumulates below the ball valve inlet"), a plain slide, a spare clip for attaching slides to the stage, and several small plastic (?) square pieces, a circular plastic container. The box also has a key.
