Rectangular postcard with a rectangular framed print of two chimps sitting on books, including Charles Darwin's Descent of Man, Shakespeare, and Kipling, reading Max Nordau's Degeneration. On the reverse is a hand-written message, green 1 cent stamp, and a postmark from Cambridge, Massachusetts on December 4th 1912 at 10am. The postcard is address to Master Enrico Ughetta, 652 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. It reads:
"12/4/12
How are you all?
Three more weeks
and I'll be there again.
Have they seen Peom's [unreadable]
baby yet. How do
you like the fact
of this? Love to all, Lovingly, Peo."
