Description Notes

Rectangular wooden base with wooden column to which is attached is a pivoted brass arm. Brass trough supported beneath by two hinged wooden blocks; also attached to wrought iron support. Trough contains two supports on which rests a metal rod; other parts of instrument in the trough include a cylindrical brass weight and a brass handle.
