Glass dish with lip, from the Howard Glassware Collection, believed to have been used to distill perfume oil, 1950s.

This is a white/frosted glass dish with a short, irregular lip. It is not smooth, so perhaps was hand-blown. It has some black and brown marks on the base and the lip. It may have been used as an evaporating or crystallising dish.

This was found packaged with 5244.265, a similar, smaller glass dish, but it is not clear if they are linked, or how.
