3285.1: volumetric flask with stopper; ground glass neck. Engraved ‘B. 29 AG 250ml’. Height 198mm; maximum diameter 80mm.
3285.2: glass pipette for 10ml. Inscribed at centre: ‘10 ML D20˚C BS1583 B HOSLAP’. Length 415mm
3285.3: pear-shaped separating funnel with ground glass neck and tap at lower end with narrow gauge outlet tube below. Tap stuck. Height 304mm; maximum diameter 67mm.
3285.4: glass pipette for 2ml with second bulb at one end. Engraved: ‘100 λ 200 λ Del 2 ml MISCO’. Length 186mm.
3285.5: glass pestle and mortar. Pestle height 43mm; maximum diameter 55mm; mortar length 80mm; maximum diameter 24mm.
3285.6: volumetric flask with ground glass stopper; for 100ml. Engraved: ‘“TECHNICO” GRADE B’ (on neck); ‘2464 100ml C+20˚C’ (on bulb). Height 185mm; maximum diameter 57mm.
3285.7: conical flask with everted rim. Engraved: ‘MADE IN KAVALIER BOHEMIA CZECHOSLOVAKIA 50’. Height 90mm; maximum diameter 45mm.
3285.8: glass beaker for 100ml. Engraved: ‘PYREX MADE IN ENGLAND’. Height 65mm; diameter 60mm.
3285.9: pear-shaped separating funnel with ground glass neck and tap at lower end with narrow gauge tube below. Marked: ‘INTERCHANGEABLE’ on tap. Engraved: ‘QUICKFIT MADE IN ENGLAND 100ml’ on main body. Height 246mm; breadth 77mm; depth 51mm.
3285.10: tin stepped case with six shelves for different sizes of filter paper. Door hinged at base. Height 240mm; breadth 210mm; depth 209mm.

3285.14: screw-top bottle with metal lid lined with plastic. Height 51mm; diameter 22mm.
3285.15: round-bottomed flask with ground glass neck. Engraved: ‘QUICKFIT MADE IN ENGLAND 500ml’. Height 150mm; diameter 105mm.
3285.16: glass ureometer on wooden stand with square base, supported by rubber ring at top. Cylindrical tube with bottom bend and bulb between bend and outlet. Tube has scale divided [0] - 0.03, numbered by 0.01, divided to 0.001, second scale divided [0] - 15, numbered by 5, divided to 1; engraved ‘Ureometer Grammes’. Base stamped ‘GARDNER EDINBURGH’. Height 197mm; breadth 122mm; depth 104mm
3285.17: dessicator: base cavity for sodium hydroxide (none present) surmounted by zinc (?) gauze, resting on base of main body of instrument; ground glass rim; lid with ground glass rim and central tap (broken) for connection to vacuum pump. Also a glass dish with spout, engraved ‘PYREX MADE IN ENGLAND’. Dish diameter 62mm; dessicator height 195mm; maximum diameter 140mm
3285.18: connector with small central bulb and ground glass connection points. Engraved: ‘QUICKFIT’. Height 112mm; maximum diameter 35mm.
3285.19: glass distillation head with 90˚ bend; ground glass connection points; central bulb. Height 162mm; breadth 105mm; depth 50mm.
3285.20: glass side arm connector with 90˚ bend; ground glass connection points; narrower gauge tube connects at bend. Length 140mm; breadth 90mm; thickness 22mm.
