Description Notes
1. Wooden (mahogany?) beam, pentagonal section. Inlaid boxwood scale graduated on both sides [3] - [177] by 5 to 1. Zero index with knurled screw fine adjustment and clamp and vernier reading to 0.1. Pencil holder with knurled screw clamp. Sliding beam head with knurled screw clamp and engraved scale reading to 0.1. Pencil holder with knurled screw clamp.
2. Identical but graduated 0 - [173] by 5 to 1 on one side only. Zero index with vernier reading to 0.1 with fine adjustment and clamp, (iron very badly rusted). Sliding beam head with engraved scale reading to 0.1 fine adjustment (clamp screw missing). Pointed indicator with knurled screw clamp
Both in wooden box.
