Description
This gun clinometer was made by Giacomo Lusuerg, an instrument-maker based in Modena, who later moved to Rome where he lived and work from 1672 until his death in 1689. Clinometers are instruments used for measuring vertical angles or slopes, and this object would have been used to improve ballistics.
