Description Notes

Unequal steel half-beam with swan’s neck-end and self-locating steel knife-edge in ‘U’ shaped bearing. Brass half-beam graduated [21] - [79] by 10 to 1 with sliding brass counterweight. Cylindrical brass bucket with steel hook. Bearing on turned brass pillar and circular base. Boxwood and ebony striker. Fitted wooden box with label in lid giving details of marketable grains.
