Description Notes
Steel beam and fittings; swan’s neck beam ends; self-locating knife edge and ring bearing; index pointer above with decoratively pierced base; gallows with ring bearing to brass loop and tassel. Two circular brass pans with suspension cords.
Wooden box with slots for 22 weights (all present) each with small turned handle and hinged brass lid over slot for fractional weights (missing). Each weight stamped with denomination of coin.
Paper label in lid carries verse from Proverbs.
Plain box with hook fastenings.
Condition good; incomplete (fractional weights missing).
