Description Notes

Nuremberg style; master cup with raised hinge and clasp pieces; Turned supports for handle; raised clasp piece terminates in ‘sea horse’ head; engraved design on handle. Lid decorated with concentric circles and stamped ‘C’ ‘4’ and maker's mark. Cup divided with raised horizontal bands and punched geometric designs. Inside of lid and 8 cup weights decorated with concentric circles. Base of master cup stamped ‘2’. Cups stamped ‘1’ (lb), ‘16’, ‘8’, ‘4’, ‘2’, ‘1’, 10th and tho for 1/2 and 1/4 not stamped.

Incomplete; disc missing.
