Description Notes
Single turn type. Brass case, beam and pans. Beam graduated 0 - 12 pennies, numbered by 3, subdivided to 1 with 4 notches before 0 for farthings overweight; sprung slide; ‘H’ type hanger with ‘doll’s head’ coin pan with rectangular extension to hanger. Steel tips to hanger and column. Cranked column erected by hinge automatically as box opens. Brass link and rest. End of box mended or modified.
Instruction label in box is badly damaged and partly illegible.
Condition: fair (damage to instruction label); complete.
