Description Notes

Brass pear shaped box. Folding slit and window sights with cross wire which folds down into brass slot. Cylindrical lens in one end, with window above, for reading compass and clinometer readings. Compass ring graduated 0 - 360 numbered by 10 divided to 1. Clinometer ring graduated 0 - 90 - 0 - 90 -0 numbered by 10 divided to 1. Sliding brass clamp for circles when not in use. Push stop for fixing angle when in use. Mounted on pivoted socket. Fitted wooden box lined with blue velvet with brass hinges and hook fasteners.
