Description Notes

Circular brass hinged case with relief decoration in white metal of flowers and foliage. Brass handle.
One half with inset compass with cardinal points and 12 points marked around edge. Other half with scaphe dial with chinese hours set around it and Japanese hours marked in the bowl; pin gnomon.
