Description Notes

The face of the ring engraved in mirror image - surrounded by a border of olive leaves; within this a coat of arms surmounted by the initials ‘MIMR’ with the initials ‘HR’ either side of the arms.
Face is hinged and opens until perpendicular to the plate beneath. Signed on the upper leaf; lower leaf carries a horizontal string style dial (lacks string), with hour scale divided 5 - 12, 1 - 7, numbered by 1; inset compass (card and needle not original).
