Description Notes

Brass. Turned case with screw fit lid; open dial plate with hour circle divided IIII - XII, I - VIII, numbered by I, subdivided to 15 minutes. Folding gnomon for 54˚ N. Paper compass card: 8-point rose hand-coloured, fleur de lys for north; degree scale divided 0 - 90˚ - 0 - 90˚ - 0, subdivided to 5˚.
