Description Notes

Right angle triangle: hypotenuse 3 times the length of the base; side at right angles to the base bevelled; index mark in centre of hypotenuse.
Two scales: divided on both sides with two scales on each edge - inner (natural) scale and outer (artificial) scale. Thus eight pairs of scales giving 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60 divisions to the inch, this figures engraved below each pair of scales. Natural scales all divided to 10 with 1 - 0 divided to 1. Artificial scales numbered by 10, divided to 1 from central 0 at 3 times natural scale. Fitted wooden box with sliding lid.
