Sights on reverse, left hand edge.
Obverse: projection for latitude 51˚ 30´ N. Degree scale divided to named month and subdivided to 1 day (1st Aries March 10). Ecliptic arc divided to zodiac sign, subdivided to 1˚. Horizon arc divided [0] - 40˚, numbered by 10˚, subdivided to 1˚. Declination scale dividedalong LHS [0] - [23˚30´], numbered by 10˚, subdivided to 1˚. Degree scale along circumference divided [0] - 90˚, numbered by 10˚, subdivided to 1˚. Curved hour lines divided VI - XII, I - VIII, numbered by I, subdivided to 15 minutes (half-hours marked by dotted lines). Various stars marked (see history file).
Reverse: degree scale divided 0 - 90˚ - 0 - 90˚ - 0, numbered by 10˚, subdivided to 1˚. Lacking central disc for horizontal dial or nocturnal.
