Description Notes

A 305 mm diameter glass disk painted in an asymmetric spiral pattern with a thin black line, mounted in a square, polished mahogany frame with a 100 mm x 20 mm slit to allow projection in a lantern. When the disk is rotated, a wave of alternate compression and expansion is clearly demonstrated.

Condition good (handle is loose and unscrews); complete.
