Description Notes
Cylindrical wooden prim staff bound with brass ferrules, with turned ivory handle and steel tip. Calendar in two parts with days given by runes, but also with every fifth day of the month marked by Roman numerals. Saint’s days indicated by related pictograms. Table of dominical letters and epacts around the top end of the staff.
Fitted leather-covered case, lined with velvet, with brass hook fasteners.
Condition good (one ferrule loose); complete.
