Description Notes

Earthenware. Tin glazed. Yellow ochre, cobalt blue and orange decoration. High neck; bulbous body; long waist with flared foot ring; wide strap handle; straight spout. Inscription panel below handle. Yellow handle with polychrome angel holding orb. Rest of body decorated with ‘trophies’, including drum, armour, shields, etc. Yellow and orange strips round neck, foot and spout.
Rim and spout colours touched up.

Condition fair (large chip in neck; finish coming off body; pitting); complete.
