‘ALEXR ALEXANDER OPTICIAN TO THE KING EXETER 1239’ (mirror cell)


Description Notes

Triangular shaped mount with diamond aperture and eyeshade. Mirror opposite. Glazed base. Hinged dark glass shade or lithographic delineator with clamp. Mounted on sliding telescopic extension rod within principal rod. The whole pivoted onto clamp; knurled screw thread.
Mount inscribed with coat of arms of the House of Hanover (1801-1837).
