Description Notes

Educational kit with many parts and pieces, to be used to demonstrate the laws of electricity. Includes coils, sheets of metal, magnets, iron filings, springs, switch, rope, amp and voltmeter dials, and a broken glass container. All contained in a wooden box with sliding lid, divided into compartments.

Black painted metal tripod base with three brass levelling screws supports three brass uprights on which is set a black-painted metal ring. Centre of tripod base also carries a metal column which passes through the centre of the ring and is adjustable in height. One side of the ring carries a further metal rod held in place by a knurled brass screw. This rod rises vertically before turning to the horizontal. The end carries a metal ball to which is attached a length of wire.

Condition fair for box, good for other instruments; incomplete
