Description Notes

Mahogany base supporting frame formed by 2 mahogany uprights and top cross-piece, supporting horizontal brass axle for 9 inch diameter glass disc, secured to axle with brass washers. Adjustable clamps top and bottom to maintain contact between disc and 2 pairs of leather friction pads. Crank and removable turning handle on one side of frame. On the other a 2-armed brass conductor mounted onto the frame by a horizontal glass rod, each arm terminating in a ā€˜U’ shaped collector cone.

Condition fair (conductor very unstable in mount); complete
