surveying compass by Nicholas Bion, French, c. 1700.

Brass compass mounted on square plate with two fixed sights. Brass 32-point compass rose, degree scale divided 0 - 180 - 0 numbered by 10 subdivided to 1. Blued steel needle with arrow for north. Four holes in corners of plate (for attachment to instrument ?)

Condition good (one sight bent); complete
