Description Notes

Telescope with cross-hairs, rack and pinion focus (broken) and moving eyepiece. Cover for objective. Longitudinal bubble level set into top of telescope. Compass set over bubble level. Silvered 8-point rose, lower scale divided [0] - [90] - [0] - [90] - [0] numbered by 10, upper scale divided [0] - 360 numbered by 10 subdivided to 1. Steel needle with brass locking mechanism. Glass cover. Compass set on 4 brass pillars. Level screwed to base with 4 levelling feet on parallel plates and 3 sockets for attachment to tripod. Fitted wooden box. Diagonal eyepiece.
