Description Notes
Telescope focussed by rack and pinion moving the objective. Erecting lens, no cross hairs. Bubble level hangs below telescope. Telescope mounted in ‘Y’ supports over compass. Silvered 8-point rose. Lower scale divided [0] - 90 - [0] - 90 - [0] numbered by 10. upper scale divided [0] - 360 numbered by 10 subdivided to 1. Steel needle, glass cover. Below compass are 4 levelling feet between parallel plates, axis clamp and azimuth motion tangent screw. One ‘Y’ support carries elevating screw for telescope. Tripod mount with central screw thread into telescope support. Fitted wooden box.
