Set of six brass triangular architectural scales / rules, c.1662.

Six brass triangular rules; one each for the five architectural orders, and one universal. Turned brass handle; each face graduated with two unequal scales. Inscribed on each face: ‘DOR’, ‘COR’, ‘TVS’, ‘ION’, ‘ROM’, ‘IR/CV/TD’.
Fitted cylindrical leather covered case with slip top. Stamped decoration.

Condition good (cracking on case); complete
