Description Notes

Wheatstone bridge, by W.G. Pye, English, 1/2 20th C.

Shallow wooden stand with a groove along one long edge, along the other a metre rule divided 0 - 100 cm, numbered by 1, subdivided to 0.1. Beside this is stretched a metre length of wire. At one end the wire is joined to a single brass terminal, at the other it is joined to a brass strip with three brass terminals. Beside this brass strip are two shorter brass strips with two terminals on each. Between two of the terminals is positioned a red-painted resistor (?).

Condition fair (spotting on brass).
