Description Notes

Metre scale for galvanometer, by W.G. Pye & Co, English, 20th C.

Scale divided 0 - 100 cm, numbered by 1, subdivided to 0.1 and divided 50 - 0 - 50cm, numbered by 1, subdivided to 0.1; printed on translucent paper. Paper sandwiched between two sheets of glass and held in black painted wooden frame. Back sheet of glass is cracked at one end and has blue lines drawn on it in the other half; it also has card markers labelled ‘1’ ‘2’ ‘5’ ‘10’ ‘15’ and ‘20’ stuck on it with cloth tape.
