Description Notes

Engraved plate of a table of astronomy instruments and diagrams. The print has a large clear border on the left side where the print was (or was intended to be) bound in a book.
Diagrams include ones relating to eclipses, co-ordinate systems, planetary systems, comets, etc. Instruments include armillary sphere, astronomical quadrant, Gunter quadrant, Sutton quadrant, celestial globe, micrometers, horary quadrant, terrarium.
Plate consists of two separate impressions.

Condition fair (torn at bottom edge, slight foxing at top left); complete.
